Las Vegas/ Temple Trip

I am so far behind on my posting... We got back from our trip a couple of weeks ago and we had so much fun. Ryan and I started off our trip by spending a couple of days in Las Vegas. The first day we got there around 2 in the afternoon and just walked around went through different hotels and shops and what not.

Our First picture when we got to our hotel room. So nice to get away just the two of us. We stayed at Excalibur for 35 BUCKS a night. It was such a cheap vegas trip.

I could sit in front of the Belagio all day and watch the fountains with the music. So pretty!

While we were in Vegas we went to the temple there. Gorgeous temple I loved it. The grounds were gorgeous. I wish I could buy the house across the street. How cool would that be to come out of your house to see the temple everyday.

Of course we had to go to the ESPN Zone for Ryan. That night we went to see the Lance Burton Magic show. It was good but we saw David Copperfield while he was in town a couple of months ago and I have to say I enjoyed him a little more.

The third day we were on our way to Utah. We passed through St. George and of course went to the temple there. I love St. George a lot of my family lives there. I wish I could move to Utah but I wouldn't want to move away from all the family we have here.

On to Manti...Gorgeous, Gorgeous, Gorgeous. I love love loved this temple. So pretty, definitely my favorite. Manti temple is out in the middle of no where but it's only like an hour and 30 minutes out of the way going from st. george to Salt Lake. I would totally recommend stopping by if anyone is ever going that way.

That night we got to Lehi, Utah and were able to spend two nights at the Demke's house. I love my familiy. I'm so mad at myself for not taking any pictures of the family while I was there. My Uncle John and Aunt Lisa are such fun people and I love all 10 of their kids. Thats right 10!! I miss you guys already...I'll see you at Disneyland in a couple of weeks.

Our last day of the temple trip...we were going to go to the new Draper temple which I know would have been such a great temple to go through, but we didn't have an appointment so at least we got to take a picture out front:)

I love Utah...It is so pretty in the spring. These trees and the tulips were everywhere...Beautiful!

From Draper we decided just to catch a temple from the freeway on our way to the Salt Lake Temple. You can see a temple every few miles in Utah...We ended up going about 5 miles and pulling over to the Jordan Temple.

I love the Salt Lake temple it is so pretty. It was my first time going through this temple so it was such a great experience for me. Gorgeous as I expected. We spent as much time as we could in that area but sadly it was our last stop and we didn't have much time left in the day.

We had such an amazing trip. I'm so glad that my husband pushed for this trip. We spent a lot of time in the car, but we had so much fun listening to books on cd, talking about the future, and of course we were on a temple trip so we talked a lot about church doctrine and history. I had only been to the Mesa Temple before this so it was such a great experience for both of us. Loved every moment of it babe. Love ya.

While We Were Gone...

Thank you Nana and Papa Smith for taking care of our little girl while we were gone for the week. I know she had so much fun with you. Thank you for making it easier on her and on us while we were apart. Love you guys. Thank you.

Happy Birthday Babe!

I'm a little late on posting this but, Ryan had a birthday this last Monday on the 27th. I'm so very thankful for the blessing that Ryan is in my life. Thank you babe for always being there for me. You are truly the best thing that ever happened to me. I couldn't imagine my life without you. Happy Birthday!

Ryan worked that day and then came home to presents and cupcakes at the Smith house. It was a fun night with the family.

Ryans Grandma Smith always had a tradition where she would give her grandchildren a dollar on their birthday. Ryans Dad now gives two dollars to the kids on their birthday. We will most likely start giving our children three dollars on their birthdays...

Ryans brother Kevin gave him a pull up bar and the P90X DVDs. I watched them try to do the program the other night...It was hilarious. Ryan and Kevin woke up so soar the next day:) I'm proud of ya babe.

Ryan is officially 28 years old. Only 2 more years until the big 30. I love to remind him that I'm only 23:) Love ya babe.
Of course Katie's favorite part of the night was eating the cupcakes that her Nana made. Yum!

Our Anniversary is coming up this month on the 12th so we are combining Ryans birthday with our anniversary and taking a trip. We are leaving tomorrow on a Vegas/Temple trip. We head out tomorrow for Vegas for a couple of days. After Vegas and the temple there we will head over to Utah and visit a bunch of temples between St. George and Salt Lake. Im so excited to get away with my husband and take a trip by ourselves. We will really miss you Katie. Thank you Jody for babysitting. I will post pictures when we get back.
